Today we are launching our interview study into people’s experiences of online/mobile sexual harassment, cyberstalking, image-based abuses (aka ‘revenge porn’), as well as gender-based, gender-identity and sexuality-based harassment.
We’re calling for participants who are willing to share their experiences and the impacts of these harms. We’d really like the opportunity to hear from people about their experiences in-person or by phone, but we also know that for some people it may be difficult to discuss with us – even if they do want to participate.
That’s why there are three ways to contribute to our study:
– A face-to-face interview, at this stage limited to Melbourne
– A telephone interview, or
– An online interview, via a completely anonymous online form
We hope that this research will uncover not only the nature and impacts of these harms, but allow us to recommend real and workable legal, non-legal and social responses.
Please spread the word to anyone who you think might be interested in participating. More information is available on our website: techandme.com.au or by emailing us: firstname.lastname@example.org or you can follow us on Twitter: @techandme_
